How to integrate your site with Zapier
If you’re a Juice.ai user, you can now take advantage of the new Zapier integration to send articles directly to your website, Google Docs, or even create a seed word in Juice. With Zapier, you can automate your workflow and streamline your content creation process. In this guide, we’ll show you how to integrate Juice.ai with Zapier in a few simple steps.
Step 1: Create a Zapier Account
First, you need to create a Zapier account. Even with a free account, you can get up to a hundred tasks per month. To get started, visit the Zapier website and sign up for an account.
Step 2: Set Up a Trigger
Once you have your Zapier account set up, you can start creating your Zap. The first step is to set up a trigger. In Juice.ai, the trigger is when an article is added to a specific folder. So, you'll choose "Juice.ai" as the app for the trigger, and the event is "Article added to folder."
Select your Juice.ai account, and specify the folder that you want to use as the trigger. Make sure you have an article generated on your account to ensure that the trigger works. Test your trigger and move on to the next step.
For Wordpress...
For WordPress integration, you need to set up an action to upload the featured image to WordPress before creating a post. In Zapier, create an action with the application as WordPress, and choose "Upload Media" as the event. Select your WordPress account and set up the action.
In the "File" field, choose "Featured Image URL." Make sure you have the "Featured Image URL" option checked under "Show all options." This step is necessary to ensure that you can get the featured image generated by Juice.ai.
Test the action to make sure it works and move on to the next step.
The last step is to create a post in WordPress. In Zapier, create another action with WordPress as the app, and select "Create Post" as the event. Select your WordPress account and set up the action.
In the "Post Type" field, choose "Post." Set the "Post Title" as the article title, and use dynamic data for article content and meta-description. Under "Featured Image," choose "Upload Media in WordPress" and click the ID of that photo.
Test the action and publish your app.
For Shopify...
If you want to integrate with Shopify, the process is very similar. Add a trigger for "Article added to folder" and select your Shopify account. Set up the trigger and choose your folder.
Under Shopify, create an action to create a blog post, select your account and set up the action. Choose the article title, author name, content, featured image URL, and meta-description. You don't need to add the "Upload Media in WordPress" step as in WordPress integration. Choose whether you want the post published immediately or saved as a draft.
Test the action and publish your app.
In conclusion, with the new Juice.ai integration with Zapier, you can streamline your content creation process and automate your workflow. The integration allows you to send articles directly to your website, Google Docs, or even create a seed word in Juice. Use this guide to set up the integration and take advantage of the many benefits it offers.
